The day is fast approaching that many of you have requested for years, the reissue of FOREVER YOURS on March 30, 2010. FOREVER YOURS, co-launched the Arabesque line in 1994 and before its run was over the book made Essence magazine bestselling list multiple times, went into 6 printings, and was named one of the top 25 books of 1994 by the American Library Association..

But before any of that happened, I had to write the book that was originally titled Lavender and Lace. I must admit that I like the change suggested by my then fantastic editor, Monica Harris. However, there was another change she suggested when she called to talk about the book that I listened to respectively, then politely ignored. I wasn’t being stubborn nor did I think I knew more than she did, I just felt strongly about the issue and went with my gut. Thankfully, it worked out for me.
