NASCAR

NASCAR was exciting.  I did get the opportunity to see the 7 men pit crew go over the wall and change 4 tires in less than 13 seconds on car  Number 48 – the car I had selected to win, the car I took a picture standing next to.  I’m pleased to say that when I saw the quick change I knew it would make a difference.  No big deduction on my part since the car that had stopped behind Number 48 was still there 2 minutes later.  The winning driver, Jimmy Johnson, is now in 1st place for the NEXTEL NASCAR Cup.

If this is foreign to some of you, I feel you.  I was in the same place until I decided to write CAMERON’S DESTINY.  I always want to write the best, most accurate book possible – which meant research.  Readers deserve no less.
