Hopefully everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Mine was wonderful. My family has a lot to be thankful for. Things haven’t always gone smoothly, but when you think of what others are going through, you count your blessings.
I think the cold weather is finally here. I guess I’ll have to dig out the wool clothes. We had snow flurries Thanksgiving day. I don’t recall that ever happening before.
The only decoration for Christmas we’ve done is hang the wreath on the front door. We haven’t decided if we want a live tree or not. I love decorating, but I intensely dislike taking everything down.
As usual, I plan to work with Family Place to help the children affected by domestic violence. It’s heartbreaking to see their shattered faces. It makes you appreciate what you have even more, and want to reach out to help others. Every child should know that they’re loved and protected.
