Blog Day 2
I’m counting the days until the release of ONE NIGHT WITH YOU. 24 days in case you’re counting with me. Grayson Friends is the first series I’ve written that I knew all the main characters when I started writing. With one exception, readers who read the Graysons of New Mexico would have ‘met’ all of the main characters -by name if not on page. I had a difficult time trying to decide whose story would come first.
Shane and Paige were chosen to lead off the series because I thought their story would make a great transition from the Graysons, plus Shane was too gorgeous to leave single. If you haven’t done so, I invite you to read the bridge story found on my web site at www.francisray.com that connects the two series. Cameron and Caitlin were next because I sort of felt sorry for Cameron. How does a man get over being jilted? Yikes.

Yes, mam I’m counting down the days, too. I can’t wait. I knew when Raven was introduced she was a smoke screen, but it never dawned on me that she would fall in love with Duncan. I’m so looking forward to this read, I hope November 3, gets here with the quickness.
When will Ruth get her own story, isn’t it about time she found love again, too? I think so, and wouldn’t it be ironic that your children repaid the favor to her. You introduced these characters in Until There Was You and gave an update in Irresitble You, will Naomi and Richard get a story?
On another note, the cover for If I were your man is hot. I saw it the day before you announced it on your website and my mouth fell open. Wow, the story is sure to be smoking like the cover!!

Thanks for stopping by. Ruth will get her own story. I plan to tie it in with Rio’s story, the 7th book in the Grayson Friends series. Many readers share your desire to have the children turn the tables on Ruth. We’ll see.
My mouth fell open as well when I saw the cover. LOL. My fingers are crossed that readers will enjoy Rafael’s story. Richard and Naomi’s story is book six.

I haven’t decided about Rio yet.
